Office Manager

Overview

Mesa is ready to hire its next team member! We specialize in millwork and building custom furniture for commercial spaces in Nashville, TN. We are looking for an office manager to handle administrative tasks on a part-time basis.

Located in Ashland City, Mesa is a young, growing company with a strong ten-person team. We are committed, creative workers committed to building durable, high-quality, well-designed furniture and millwork for the city of Nashville. We pride ourselves on a collaborative and familial work culture.

Job Role

  • Bookkeeping
  • Reconciling Accounts
  • Coordinating with our accountant on a quarterly basis
  • Overseeing workers comp, insurance, and employee benefits
  • Invoicing
  • Contract Review and execution of SOW's
  • Managing bank account and credit balances
  • Job Costing
  • Overseeing HR admin tasks, onboarding staff, etc. (not employee reviews or hiring)
  • Social media and content creation is a possibility but not a requirement
  • Stocking office with supplies / keeping plants alive
  • Stocking kitchen and bathrooms with the basics
  • Helping host events at Mesa
  • Celebrating staff anniversaries, birthdays, quarterly gatherings.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Proficient in Excel and Quickbooks Online
  • Highly organized
  • Able to quickly learn project management software
  • Attentive to detail, cleanliness, and efficiency
  • Hardworking and fun-loving
  • Basic accountancy
  • Basic tax understanding

Pay / Time

  • Part-time 8-20hrs weekly $22-28/hour, depending on experience
  • Make your own schedule - Our Shop Schedule is M-F: 7am-4:30pm | Friday: 7am-11am -
  • Option to work partially remote
  • Flexible time off

  • Start date: ASAP
